27-5-2013 - KERRY CONTRACTOR INVESTS IN EXTRA EXCAVATORS
Kerry civil works contractors, Moriarty Civil Engineering of Tralee, has completed a major investment in equipment with the purchase of two Komatsu crawler excavators in a deal valued in excess of EU250,000.
The machines, supplied by Komatsu distributor McHale Plant Sales of Birdhill, are a 23-ton PC210 and a PC350 LC-8 crawler excavator, both of which are being assigned to a wind turbine installation project currently under construction by Moriarty at Roscrea.

Founded in 1970, the Moriarty family business has earned a reputation for delivering quality projects, on time and within budget to the construction, development and civil engineering sectors. With a turnover close to EUR20m, the company has completed over fifteen major infrastructural contracts for the Department of the Environment over the past ten years.
